Simplified Login Process for Multi-Database Users
Managing multiple databases is now easier! MyGeotab has introduced an improved login process for MyAdmin and SAML users. Instead of logging out and back in, simply choose the desired database at login.

Direct Actions: Assign or annotate events directly on the new page without switching tabs.
Simplified Organization: Events are grouped into trips for better context.
Advanced Filters: Filter by Minimum Distance or Duration to focus on the most relevant events.
Improving Log Timestamp Accuracy
We’ve updated MyGeotab to improve how log timestamps are displayed. Now, the edited date and time will only show if a log has been modified. This helps users quickly identify accurate log data without unnecessary clutter.
New Features on MyGeotab’s Beta Installation Pending Page
We’ve enhanced the MyGeotab Installation Pending page in Beta, adding three new features: Service, Swap, and Remove. These tools make it easier for Fleet Managers to manage device changes.
New Features:
Service: Update asset information like name, license plate, and VIN with a single click.
Swap: Seamlessly replace old devices while maintaining historical data.
Remove: Archive devices smoothly, stopping data reporting while preserving past records.
Important: Only users with DeviceAdminDeleteUnplugReplace clearance can view or accept Removal and Swap records.
You can enable these features by navigating to User > Options > Beta Features > Toggle On New Installation Record Notification.
Enhanced Asset Management: Switch Between Asset Type Groups
We’re introducing a new feature that allows you to easily change the Asset Type Group for trailers, vehicles, and other assets, as long as there are no associated ELD or DVIR logs.

Simplified Management: Change asset categories for more accurate record-keeping.
